Landscaping

This is the landscaping that we ended up with in August 2005.

It is hard to imagine this is all that $640,000.00 buys these days!

This is what happened during an October 2005 rain...

...the builder could not have directed the water at the house any better if he deliberately intended to do so.  Did he intend it?!

After the rain...

These are the footing, upon which the structural integrity of the house depends.  The footings need to be protected from freezing.  Clearly this had to be repaired.

The builder claims that this occurred because the owner did not loom and seed the area!

This is the $20,000.00 repair to make it right...

Funny thing about this regrading, is that we have not
since had any erosion.  Also the area that the builder believes needed seeding and looming to prevent the erosion was instead merely covered with gravel.  It is the builder's improper grading of the lot that lead to the erosion.  These images are stunning and they speak for themselves.  Who are you going to believe, a budget decimating builder or your own eyes?
